The Saem Saemmul Mousse Candy Tint

Hello Princesses,

Today I'm going to be talking about The Saem Saemmul Mousse Candy Tint!

Light mousse texture expresses the face brightly with the vivid colors. Stay coating layer maintains the vivid colors with moisturizing ingredients. The vivid colors with fruity and fresh scents refresh the lips vividly.

These tints have really cute baby pink packaging, they're shaped like little sweets which I think is adorable, but still stack nicely. I really like that they have unique prints on the packaging which make it easy to identify which shade I'm picking up.

There are five really pretty shades in the collection. They all have a beautiful velvety formula and really great pigmentation. In general, they're all easy to apply and have great longevity.

Red Mango

Red Mango Mousse is a beautiful warm toned red shade.

This is such a pretty, classic shade. It does have quite a heavy scent and taste which I find a little bitter, but it's not too overwhelming. I find these tints super easy to apply, the wand handle is a little small, but it's not too awkward to hold. I really enjoy wearing this shade, it's really flattering on my skin tone!

Strawberry 1.png

Strawberry Mousse is a beautiful mid toned strawberry shade.

Strawberry 2.png

This shade looks a little more red than it does pink, but it's still a really pretty, wearable shade. These tints have a beautiful velvety texture, I find them to be very similar to the Peripera Ink Velvet tints, but they last quite a lot longer. I can wear these tints for up to 5 hours without reapplying (though of course if I eat I will need to reapply the tint).

Carrot 1.png

Carrot is a bright orange shade.

Carrot 2.png

Unsurprisingly, this is not my favourite shade, though I think it is really pretty! I just don't think that it looks good on me. These tints do dry down to a soft matte finish and stain quite well.

Grapefruit 1.png

Grapefruit is a really pretty pastel peach shade.

Grapefruit 2.png

This shade is the sheerest of the collection and does require a little more work to get the best finish. However, I do think that this is a really beautiful shade that looks nice on my skin tone. I get a little bit of the orange, but it's not quite as stark as the bright orange.

Yoghurtberry 1.png

Yogurtberry is a pretty cool toned strawberry pink shade.

Yoghurtberry 2.png

I don't usually enjoy cooler toned shades but this has a really pretty purple tint to it which I really enjoy! It's a little more of a unique shade for me, but one that I really enjoy wearing. This shade doesn't actually have the best longevity, it lasts for up to 3 hours on me, but not nearly as long or as well as the other shades which is very disappointing.

Chai Tea Mousse

Chai Tea 1.png

Chai Tea Mousse is a beautiful dusty mauve shade.

Chai Tea 2.png

I didn’t love this shade to start with, but over the past year it’s really grown on me and it’s become one of my favourites! I’ve never worn such a dark mauve shade before but I think it looks quite mature.

Dark Cherry Mousse

Dark Cherry 1.png

Dark Cherry Mousse is the deepest red shade in the range

Dark Cherry 2.png

This shade is more like a dark brick red rather than a burgundy and I don’t actually like it that much on my skin tone. I prefer a blue toned red personally, but I still think the shade is pretty, just not on me.

Apricot Mousse

Apricot 1.png

Apricot Mousse is a pleasing peach shade that is just a little darker than Grapefruit Mousse

Apricot 2.png

I don’t know why this wasn’t just called Peach, but I guess that’s why I’m not in charge of naming shades. This is a really pretty shade and is just a little darker and pinker in tone than Grapefruit but I do enjoy wearing it.

Peanut Mousse

Peanut 1.png

Peanut Mousse is a burnt pumpkin shade

Peanut 2.png

Peanut is quite a unique shade in the KBeauty world, but not really a shade that I enjoy wearing. Again, it’s pretty, just not for me in my opinion.

Strawberry Cheese Mousse

Strawberry Cheese 1.png

Strawberry Cheese Mousse is a vibrant strawberry shade that is a little brighter and pinker than Strawberry Mousse. Confusing right.

Strawberry Cheese 2.png

I really like this shade, I can layer it thinly on my lips to get a pretty paler pink, or thickly for a vibrant mid toned pink. This is one of my favourite shades in the range!

Tomato Mousse

Tomato 1.png

Tomato Mousse is a bright orange toned red.

Tomato 2.png

Tomato Mousse is quite similar to Red Mango, but just a little lighter. The next shade which is Apple is more blue toned, whereas Tomato is more of an orange tone. Like I’ve said many times in this post, I prefer blue tones on myself personally.

Apple Mousse

Apple Mousse is a bright blue toned red.

Apple 2.png

This is my favourite red shade in the range, I think that the blue toned red looks more flattering on my skintone.

Apple 3.png

Raspberry Mousse

Rasberry 1.png

Raspberry Mousse is a bright blue toned pink that is similar to Strawberry Mousse, but slightly more blue toned.

Rasberry 2.png

This is another of my favourite shades, it’s such a bright happy shade which I think looks quite nice on my skintone. This shade does have a slightly thinner texture than some of the other shades which is unusual, but still lasts well.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely adore the formula and shades of these lip tints! I think the packaging is really pretty and quite functional, I really like the formula for my dry lips because it doesn't accentuate any dryness and the colour actually lasts a pretty long time too. The shades are all really pretty on my skin, and although I don't like the Orange shade as usual, it's still a pretty great range! All in all, I'm definitely a much bigger fan of the Mousse Candy Tints than I am of the Water Candy Tints!
