Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Essence
Today I'm going to be talking about the Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Essence! I picked this up from Dokodemo because it was one of the only places I could purchase this product from without a ridiculous international shipping fee. I'm always interested in Vitamin C Serums, and for some reason I never have that much luck with them!
Vitamin C delivered directly to the root of skin spots! Suppresses melanin production to prevent spots and freckles.
This serum has unique packaging, it has a soft aluminium feeling squeeze tube and a very small nozzle. It only disperses a small drop at a time, and I find that I have to squeeze the tube quite hard to get enough product out. The Essence itself is clear in colour and has a thin watery texture. It's easy to to apply, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue on my skin.
I've been using this essence for 2 months all over my face. I don't see too much difference in texture or appearance in my skin which is a little disappointing, but to be honest the only vitamin C serum that made a difference in my hyper pigmentation was the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, and even changing to that didn't make a difference in my skin this time. I would expect a Vit C Essence to reduce redness, discoloration and fine lines with continued use.
This Vitamin C Essence acts a lot like other vitamin C serums that I've tried, but for substantially cheaper. Sadly it does make my hands stink like metal (it smells like I've been holding onto a bunch of coins with hot sweaty hands) and the smell really sticks which is gross. But in general it seems to be doing just as much to my skin as any other Vitamin C Serum has done and for substantially less. I'll update this once I finish the tube (which is literally lasting forever) to see if my opinion changes over the course of another 3 months.
