Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum

Hello Princesses,

Today I'm going to be talking about the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum! I tried out a little sample sachet of this and decided that I quite liked it, so I ended up grabbing the full size! I was surprised at how big this serum was, at 100ml it is a little bigger than most serums. I'll admit that I didn't pay attention to the ml size when I bought it, so when it turned up I was very surprised at how big it was!

The perfect balance between oil and moisture! Maintains the skin's oil-moisture balance and prevents the evaporation of hydration for a longer lasting dewy effect. Barberry root extracts work to reduce the temperature of your skin to soothe sensitive, irritated skin. Olive oil offers an intense hydration effect and prevents your skin from becoming dry.

This serum has very elegant packaging and is dispersed with a dropper top. Despite being super duper long, the dropper top doesn't actually pick up that much of the serum, it barely only fills 1/3 of the way. To start off with the dropper top wouldn't pick up anything, so to get 1/3 picked up is literally better than none. The serum itself has a white milky colour and quite a thin texture. It's very easy to spread out on the skin and aborbs moderately quickly.

I find that this serum hydrates my skin beautifully during the summer, but it's not quite enough for my skin in winter. It does make my skin look moisturised and dewy which I absolutely love, it's definitely a great serum for me during the warmer weather.

Final Thoughts

This is a lovely serum to use, but it's not a Holy Grail for me. It's not hydrating enough for me to use during the cooler winter weather, though it does work nicely for the warmer summer weather. It's easy to use and absorbs pretty quickly which makes it easy for me to complete my skincare routine quickly. The packaging is a little annoying, I do wish that the dropper top picked up a little more of the serum, and for me I wish that it was only 50ml as it would be a little more travel friendly that way! The moisture serum is lightly hydrating and very soothing to use, but likely won't be quite enough for dryer skin types.
