I'm From Honey Cream

Hello Princesses,

Today I'm going to be talking about the I'm From Honey Cream! I picked this cream up during Wishtrends Black Friday sale last year (because it was half price - yas). I really wanted the honey mask, but it's sold out every time that I want to buy it which is very annoying, so I settled for second best.

Containing 5.3% real natural honey rather than honey extract, and 54.32% propolis, this cream hydrates your skin like none other. This cream creates a hydrating protective-barrier on the skin with the help of high-quality honey and nutrient-rich propolis, to get rid of dullness and dryness for a natural inner-glow. Rather than adding harmful ingredients for faster absorption, the cream is made only with gentle ingredients to give long-lasting soothing care. It’s important to note that not only the main ingredients, but all ingredients in the product, are gentle. This cream helps to turn around dull skin to a healthy radiant state, while caring for even the smallest wrinkles with its balanced hydrating and nourishing properties. In addition, it also helps to immediately soothe skin irritated from the weather and environment.

Propolis Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Propanediol, Honey, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Niacinamide, 1,2- Hexanediol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Betaine, Beta-Glucan, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Sclerotium Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Methylpropanediol, Water

This cream comes housed in a cute little glass jar. It is a little heavy, but since it's only 50ml it is quite small. The ingredients list is fairly short, but notable ingredients include Propolis, Shea Butter, Honey, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Adenosine. The cream itself is pale yellow in colour and has a very thick creamy texture. It is hard to spread this out on my skin in a thin layer and it absorbs fairly slowly.

I tend to apply a little less of this in the morning because I don't have the time to wait for it to absorb or dry down before applying my sunscreen and make up. This does have quite a heavy scent and I really don't like it so that is a little annoying, but it's not the end of the world, I usually just hold my breath while applying it.

I like to apply a little more of this moisturiser at night time and it keeps my skin feeling super moisturised and nourished. A heavier application does give my skin that "glass skin" look that's super trendy right now, but it's quite hard to apply sunscreen let alone make up over a thicker layer. It does make my skin look really nice though, and this is what my skin looks like with no make up using a thicker layer of this cream.

Final Thoughts

I enjoy using this cream, but there are some limitations. It's not a product that's easily workable for the day time, I do need to use a lot less of it and my skin doesn't feel as moisturised because of that aspect. For some more personalised issues, I don't like the scent and I also think it is quite expensive for what you get. I really enjoy how dewy it makes my skin appear and how nourished my skin feels when I use a little more of a substantial layer of this cream, but even if I use my hands to warm up the cream and press it into my skin, it still takes quite some time to absorb enough that I feel like I could sleep on my face or go on to my next layer of skincare. This is a cream I would recommend for dry skin types, or those who are wanting to achieve that glossy dewy or "glass" skin look.

You can purchase the I'm From Honey Cream from Wishtrend for $31.90
