Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner
Today I'm going to be talking about the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner! This review was heavily requested, and since I am such a fan of the regular Supple Preparation Toner I was quite excited to try out the new unscented version to see if it was only the scent that was different!
Presenting the Unscented Toner, a lightweight, moisturizing toner for all skin types, specifically oily and sensitive. Fragrance free and made without essential oil and harsh ingredients. Its gel-like consistency seeps into the skin to make the skin less dry, more smooth and plump with consistent use. Feel free to add a little more of the toner in the areas that are dry. Like the original one, this toner also has star-studded ingredient list that is perfect for all skin types, and features a soothing blend of plant based extracts, along with hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid, and the soothing centalla asiatica.

The unscented toner has beautiful packaging, it has a clear bottle rather than a dark bottle and a pretty lavender label. It has the same screw and shaker top, this only lets out a small amount of the toner so I do need to shake it a couple of times just to get one application. The toner itself is clear in colour and is quite thin in texture. It's easy to spread out and absorbs quickly. Although this toner is technically unscented in the sense that there are no added fragrances, it certainly is still scented by the other ingredients. To me it smells quite strongly like plastic, it's not the worst scent ever but to me it is unpleasant.
In comparison to the regular Supple Preparation Toner this Toner is slightly more lightweight and quicker to absorb. This may be due to the lack of oils in the formula, though I'm not quite sure how big of a percentage the oils make up in the formula. This toner still works well for my skin, though I have to use a couple of extra layers to get the same effect as the regular Supple Preparation Toner.
This toner has gorgeous packaging, it's unscented for those with sensitive skin and it hydrates my skin beautifully which is all I really want out of a toner. My skin isn't sensitive to fragrances or essential oils, so thankfully I don't have to go out of my way to avoid them, but I do appreciate that there is a great option out there for Princesses that are sensitive to those ingredients because I find a lot of skincare is scented these days. I prefer the scented version because the unscented toner smells a little too much like plastic for me, but both work equally well, so if you're choosing between the two formulas you can be sure that you're still getting a great product.
