Tia'm My Signature C Source
Today I'm going to be talking about the Tia'm My Signature C Source! This is a vitamin C Serum that was recommended by so many of my sweet subscribers, so I decided to pick it up and check it out.
Infused with 20% pure Vitamin C, this serum fades acne scars, removes dead skin cells and blackheads, brightens dull skin, and improves skin elasticity and resilience in one go.
The serum comes housed in a dark glass jar and initially comes sealed with the dropper top in a separate bag so that the serum doesn't start to oxidise. My serum began life clear, but unfortunately turned yellow while I was away in Europe on holiday. I left it in a cool dark place, but not as far as leaving it in the refrigerater because that's just a little too much effort.
The serum is pretty thin in texture and is easy to spread out. It leaves a slightly dewy or oily look on my skin, but it's manageable. As usual this serum smells horrendous, it makes my hands smell like I've been holding a handful of coins which is awful.
My serum oxidised before I really had the chance to try it out properly, but I was able to try it out for 3 weeks. I noticed some of my scars fading, though more testing needs to be done before I can say this serum works for sure.
Unfortunately my serum has oxidised which means that I need to discontinue using it. As far as I know oxidised vitamin C serums are not harmful for the skin, but don't really have any benefits for the skin either, so I will stop using this so that my hands can regain their nice hand smell again. Honestly, I can still smell the serum on my hands at the end of the day and it's so gross. A representative from Tia'm did contact me recently and have offered to send me some of their products that they think are suitable for my skin, so I may have an update on this serum in the future.
