Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil
Today I'm going to be talking about the Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil! I picked this cleansing oil up during Wishtrend's Black Friday sale when they had a buy one get one free deal! I'm a huge fan of using cleansing oils since I find them so much softer on my skin than make up wipes, so I've been trying out as many cleansing oils as possible to see which works best for my skin.
KLAIRS Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil is composed of various vegetable oils that are helpful for skin care. Easily washable texture allows mild yet effective cleansing of dirt and makeup without causing any trouble or irritation. Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil is the best cleanser to maintain skins moisture even after cleansing.
This oil comes packaged in a very plain pump bottle. It was initially plastic wrapped and packaged inside a card box which isn't very environmentally friendly, and they really could've done without wrapping it in plastic. It comes with one of the little plastic cap to stop the pump from depressing during travel which is also really helpful.
The oil is clear in colour and feels like most oils do. It doesn't have a heavy scent and isn't too irritating for my eyes.
I still prefer using a dedicated eye make up remover since my eyes are very sensitive, but this does remove the majority of my eye make up.
I find that this oil removes all of my base make up easily, but does leave some residue around my eyes. I can definitely see a little of the navy eyeliner still around the base of my lashes!
This is a really pleasant cleansing oil to use, but it is a little more on the expensive side at $22.90USD. It removes all of my base make up easily, but does struggle a little with the eye make up. The product description implies that this cleansing oil should make my skin feel moisturised, but I disagree with that claim as I don't think that it makes any difference in comparison to other cleansing oils. It's a nice cleansing oil and I'll definitely be finishing up the two bottles that I have, but it's probably not an oil that I would repurchase.
